Drakengard
gameplay is highly repetitive, simplistic and not particularly interesting
but Drakengard will still be considered a game that has this unique strange

It’s
an ancient time, and dragons still roam upon the earth. Two great power the Union
and the Empire waged fierce war for the goddess who protects the harmony of the
world. Hidden in great 3 separated places lies the great seals. A forth seals,
which unites and protects the other is embodied in the life of a single women.
This woman is the goddess.
The legends say that should these seals be broken,
the gods themselves will sow upon the earth the Seeds of Resurrection. Some
claim that these seeds will bring forth the salvation of all mankind.
Against the vast and awesome Empire stands the
Union, and alliance of a nation great and small. The Union protects the goddess,
and for years the two rivals matched each other in strength and power. For now
the Empire has gathered demons and monsters to its cause and its military has
grown beyond reckoning.
Thus stand a young man. “Caim” who
was once a former prince and has of a small kingdom that was destroy by dragons
in service of the empire, Caim also make a pact with a strong and fearful pact
beast, the Red Dragon. It was only later to find out that his childhood friend
Inuart has join the Empire and make a pact with the black dragon who kill Caim
parents.
